Welcome to RiteMark, operated by Productory Services OÜ. By using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RiteMark, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

RiteMark is a WYSIWYG markdown editor that integrates with Google Drive for document storage and collaboration. The service is provided free of charge and may be modified or discontinued at any time.

3. User Accounts

To use RiteMark, you must:

• Have a valid Google account
• Be at least 13 years of age
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your Google account credentials

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purposes
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the service
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Use the service to store or share malicious content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

5. Your Content

You retain all rights to the documents you create in RiteMark. Your documents are stored in your Google Drive account and subject to Google's terms of service.

We do not claim ownership of your content, and we do not access, view, or use your documents for any purpose other than providing the service.

6. Google Drive Integration

RiteMark uses Google Drive API with the drive.file scope, which means:

• We only access files you create or open with RiteMark
• We cannot see or access your other Google Drive files
• You can revoke access at any time through your Google Account settings

7. Service Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RiteMark and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Data Backup

While your documents are stored in Google Drive, we recommend maintaining your own backups of important content. We are not responsible for data loss.

10. Open Source

RiteMark is open-source software licensed under the MIT License. You can view, modify, and distribute the source code according to the terms of that license.

11. Privacy

Your use of RiteMark is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal information.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Termination

You may stop using RiteMark at any time. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the service for any reason, including violation of these terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Estonia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of RiteMark shall be resolved through good faith negotiations. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Estonian courts.
